Request Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains exactly how to do that, what gets removed, and what we're required to keep for legal or tax reasons.

What we collect

We collect the minimum we need to do the job: name, email, phone, and service address when you request a quote; service photos (before/after) taken with your consent; and basic account info if you sign in to the customer portal once it launches.

How to request deletion

Email contact@rkservicespdx.com with the subject line DELETE MY DATA. Include the name and email or phone number you used with us so we can find the right record. If you'd rather talk to a human, call (971) 757-0248.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and customer portal profile
  • Lead history and quote records
  • Service photos we hold on your property
  • Reviews and feedback you submitted
  • Marketing contact preferences (you'll be removed from all lists)

What we keep, and why

A few things have to stay on record, but we redact identifying details where we can:

  • Anonymized financial records (invoices, payment receipts) — retained 7 years to satisfy IRS and Oregon Department of Revenue requirements.
  • Security audit log — retained 7 years to satisfy standard industry practice and any fraud investigations.
  • Records related to an active dispute, claim, or warranty obligation — retained until the matter is closed.

Timeline

We complete deletion requests within 30 days of receipt. You'll get a confirmation email when it's done, listing what was removed and what (if anything) had to be retained under the categories above.
